MA-1 Commando Black Flight Jacket
The MA1 flight jacket (they are also referred to as a Bomber Jacket) is one of the most popular items from the U.S. Army to make it into the mainstream.
In the late 1950's to 70's they were originally issued to U.S. pilots to protect them from cold weather at high altitudes.
Since then, they have become an iconic garment across many different sub-cultures and fashion statements.
